CVE-2026-32313 is a high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.2) affecting xmlseclibs, a PHP library for XML Encryption and Signatures, in versions prior to 3.1.5. The flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit a lack of authentication tag length validation in AES-GCM encrypted XML nodes. This enables brute-forcing authentication tags, recovering the GHASH key to decrypt sensitive data, and forging arbitrary ciphertexts without knowing the encryption key. While there is no public exploit code or known active exploitation, the vulnerability is on the Hot List: Active, and has garnered some community discussion.
