34
FAUCET Score

CVE-2026-32255 identifies an unauthenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the Kan open-source project management tool, affecting versions 0.5.4 and below. The /api/download/attatchment endpoint lacks authentication and URL validation, allowing an attacker to supply arbitrary URLs that the server then fetches. This flaw carries a CVSS score of 8.6 (HIGH), enabling an unauthenticated attacker to make HTTP requests from the server to internal services, cloud metadata endpoints, or private network resources, leading to high confidentiality impact. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion regarding this vulnerability. Organizations using affected Kan versions should upgrade to 0.5.5 or implement a reverse proxy rule to block or restrict access to the vulnerable endpoint.
