The flaw in `isPrivateIP()` allows authenticated users to bypass SSRF protection by using hex-normalized IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. Rated High with a CVSS score of 8.5, this vulnerability (CWE-918) has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, enabling attackers to make the server issue HTTP requests to internal network resources, including cloud metadata services and RFC1918 ranges, potentially leading to sensitive information disclosure.
