CVE-2026-30849

32
FAUCET Score

CVE-2026-30849 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) versions prior to 2.28.1 when configured with MySQL family databases. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker, knowing a victim's username, to log into the SOAP API without a password by exploiting improper type checking, gaining full access to API functions. Rated 9.8 Critical (CVSSv3.1), it carries a high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, as it can lead to complete account compromise and data manipulation. While disabling the SOAP API reduces risk, it still permits information disclosure; there is currently no public exploit code, evidence of active exploitation, or significant community discussion.
