CVE-2026-30832 is a critical server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting Soft Serve, a self-hostable Git server, in versions 0.6.0 through 0.11.3. An authenticated SSH user can exploit this by crafting a malicious LFS endpoint URL during a repository import, forcing the server to make HTTP requests to internal or private IP addresses. This allows an attacker to chain the initial blind request with a fake LFS server to gain full read access to internal services. With a CVSS score of 9.1 (Critical), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges and no user interaction, leading to high confidentiality impact. There is currently no public exploit code, it is not in the CISA KEV catalog, and while there is minimal community discussion, there is no evidence of active exploitation.
