CVE-2026-2999 is a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting IDExpert Windows Logon Agent developed by Changing. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to force affected systems to download and execute arbitrary executable files from a remote source. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, nor are there public exploit modules available in Metasploit, Nuclei, or ExploitDB.
