CVE-2026-29521 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Hereta ETH-IMC408M firmware versions 1.0.15 and prior, caused by missing CSRF protections in setup.cgi. This flaw allows an attacker to host a malicious page that can force a victim's browser to submit forged requests using automatically-included HTTP Basic Authentication credentials. Successful exploitation, which requires user interaction, could lead to unauthorized modification of device configurations, such as adding RADIUS accounts, altering network settings, or triggering diagnostics.
