CVE-2026-27895 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability affecting LDAP Account Manager (LAM) versions prior to 9.5. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to upload arbitrary files, including malicious PHP scripts, due to insufficient validation of file extensions in the PDF export component. Rated with a CVSS score of 8.8 (HIGH), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and requires only low privileges, enabling an attacker to achieve full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected system. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion. Organizations are strongly advised to upgrade to LAM version 9.5 immediately, or implement the temporary workaround of making /var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config read-only for the web-server user.
