23
FAUCET Score

CVE-2026-27115 describes a critical directory deletion vulnerability in ADB Explorer versions 0.9.26020 and below. An unvalidated command-line argument allows any user to trigger recursive deletion of arbitrary directories on Windows. An attacker can craft a malicious shortcut or script to launch ADB Explorer with a critical directory as an argument, leading to permanent data loss. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.1 (HIGH), indicating a local attack vector with low complexity, requiring user interaction, and resulting in high impact to integrity and availability. The deletion bypasses the Recycle Bin, making data recovery difficult. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, and no public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) or significant community discussion has been observed. The issue has been fixed in version 0.9.26021.
