CVE-2026-27012 is a critical privilege escalation and authentication bypass vulnerability affecting OpenSTAManager versions 2.9.8 and earlier. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by directly calling modules/utenti/actions.php to arbitrarily change any user's group, including promoting regular accounts to administrator status or demoting existing administrators. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability allows for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
