CVE-2026-25933 affects Arduino App Lab versions prior to 0.4.0, where insufficient input validation in the Terminal component allows for command injection. An attacker with physical access to a tampered Arduino board can inject shell metacharacters into the _info.Serial and _info.Address metadata fields. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.8) requires high privileges and physical access to the device, but successful exploitation can lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running the application. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
