CVE-2026-25763 is a critical arbitrary file write vulnerability affecting OpenProject versions prior to 16.6.7 and 17.0.3. An authenticated attacker with repository browse permissions can inject git log command-line options via a crafted 'rev' value, allowing them to write arbitrary files to the server. This vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 9.9 (CRITICAL) due to its network-based attack vector, low complexity, and potential for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, including remote code execution (RCE). There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
