CVE-2026-25212 is a critical vulnerability affecting Percona PMM versions prior to 3.7. An attacker with pmm-admin rights can exploit an internal database user's superuser privileges to abuse the "Add data source" feature. This allows them to break out of the database context and execute arbitrary shell commands on the underlying operating system. Rated 9.9 Critical on the CVSS scale, this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can be exploited remotely with low privileges, leading to a complete system compromise.
