CVE-2026-24748 is an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting Kargo versions prior to 1.8.7, 1.7.7, and 1.6.3. Unauthenticated attackers can access the GetConfig() API endpoint by providing any non-empty Bearer token, allowing exfiltration of sensitive configuration data like connected Argo CD cluster endpoints. This vulnerability is rated High severity (CVSS 7.2) due to its network-based attack vector and low complexity, potentially leading to information disclosure and denial-of-service against the Kargo API. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
