CVE-2026-24058 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting Soft Serve versions 0.11.2 and below, a self-hostable Git server. An unauthenticated attacker can impersonate any user, including administrators, by manipulating the SSH handshake process. This flaw, rated 9.8 Critical on CVSS, allows for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
