CVE-2026-23626

24
FAUCET Score

CVE-2026-23626 is a critical vulnerability affecting Kimai, a web-based time-tracking application, prior to version 2.46.0. The flaw stems from an overly permissive Twig sandbox policy in the export functionality, allowing authenticated users with export permissions to execute arbitrary method calls. This enables the extraction of highly sensitive data, including environment variables, user password hashes, serialized session tokens, and CSRF tokens. With a CVSS score of 6.8 (MEDIUM), this server-side vulnerability requires high privileges but has no user interaction and high confidentiality impact. There is currently no known active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
