CVE-2026-22804

19
FAUCET Score

CVE-2026-22804 describes a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Termix, a web-based server management platform, affecting versions 1.7.0 through 1.9.0. The flaw resides in the File Manager component, specifically in src/ui/desktop/apps/file-manager/components/FileViewer.tsx, where the application fails to sanitize SVG file content. This allows an attacker who has compromised a managed SSH server to embed malicious JavaScript within an SVG file. The vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 4.7 (Medium), indicating a network-based attack with high attack complexity and requiring user interaction. Successful exploitation could lead to limited confidentiality and integrity impacts, as arbitrary JavaScript would execute in the context of the Termix application when a user previews the malicious SVG file. Currently, there is no known active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE. The vulnerability has been addressed in Termix version 1.10.0.
