CVE-2026-22799 describes an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in Emlog v2.6.1 and earlier, affecting its REST API endpoint for media uploads. This flaw allows authenticated attackers, possessing a valid API key or admin session, to bypass file type and content validation and upload malicious PHP scripts. Successful exploitation, rated with a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), can lead to remote code execution and full server compromise.
