CVE-2026-22785 is a critical code injection vulnerability affecting orval versions prior to 7.18.0, a tool for generating type-safe JavaScript clients from OpenAPI specifications. The flaw stems from improper validation of the 'summary' field in OpenAPI specifications during server generation, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary code. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
