CVE-2025-8558 is an authentication bypass vulnerability in Proofpoint Insider Threat Management (ITM) Server versions prior to 7.17.2. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network can exploit this to unregister agents when the licensed agent limit is exceeded. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) primarily impacts integrity and availability by preventing event reception from affected agents, with no confidentiality impact.
