CVE-2025-8301 is a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Realtek RTL8811AU rtwlanu.sys driver, specifically within the N6CSet_DOT11_CIPHER_DEFAULT_KEY function, affecting Realtek RTL8811AU and Wi-Fi USB drivers. This flaw allows a local attacker with low-privileged code execution to escalate privileges to SYSTEM due to insufficient validation of user-supplied data length.
