CVE-2025-69429 describes an Incorrect Symlink Follow vulnerability in the ORICO NAS CD3510 (V1.9.12 and below). This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker with physical access to a USB drive slot to craft a malicious ext4 formatted USB drive containing a symbolic link. By inserting this drive, the attacker can then access the NAS's mounted symlink directory to leak or tamper with all files on the internal file system. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.1 (Medium) due to its high impact on confidentiality and integrity, though it requires physical proximity. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
