CVE-2025-68721

26
FAUCET Score

CVE-2025-68721 describes an improper access control vulnerability in Axigen Mail Server versions prior to 10.5.57. A delegated administrator account with no assigned permissions can bypass access controls in the WebAdmin interface to access the SSL Certificates management endpoint. This allows unauthorized viewing, downloading, uploading, and deleting of SSL certificate files, despite the account lacking privileges for the Security & Filtering section. The vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 8.1 (High), indicating a significant risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impact on confidentiality and integrity. Successful exploitation could lead to compromise of the mail server's SSL/TLS security. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, and no public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) is available. Community discussion and media coverage for this CVE are minimal, which is typical for the majority of reported vulnerabilities.
