CVE-2025-68716 describes a critical vulnerability in KAYSUS KS-WR3600 routers running firmware 1.0.5.9.1, where the SSH service is enabled by default on the LAN interface with a passwordless root account. This allows any attacker on the local network to easily gain full root shell access and execute arbitrary commands, as administrators cannot disable SSH or enforce authentication. With a CVSS score of 8.4 (HIGH), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and no user interaction required, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor any indication of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
