CVE-2025-6740 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Contact Form 7 Database Addon plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 1.3.1. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.1) allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts through the ‘tmpD’ parameter, which execute when a user visits an affected page. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
