CVE-2025-66562 is a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in TUUI, a desktop MCP client, affecting versions prior to 1.3.4. The flaw stems from an unsafe Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability within the Markdown rendering component, allowing arbitrary JavaScript execution. This, combined with an exposed IPC interface, enables attackers to execute arbitrary system commands on a victim's machine by simply viewing a malicious Markdown message. With a CVSS score of 8.9 (HIGH) and a FAUCET Risk Score of 90/100, this vulnerability presents a significant risk due to its network-based attack vector and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
