CVE-2025-66024 describes a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the XWiki blog application, affecting versions prior to 9.15.7. An attacker with blog post creation or editing permissions can inject malicious JavaScript into the blog post title, which is improperly escaped when rendered in the HTML <title> tag. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.6) allows for potential session hijacking or privilege escalation when any user views the compromised blog post. There are no known workarounds, but the issue is patched in version 9.15.7. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
