CVE-2025-65548 is a critical vulnerability affecting cashu nutshell versions prior to 0.18.0, where the mint fails to validate the size of a preimage when spending cashu tokens. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely flood the mint's database and disk with arbitrary data, leading to a denial-of-service condition.
