CVE-2025-65118 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting AVEVA Process Optimization, allowing an authenticated standard user to achieve OS System privileges. This local privilege escalation (LPE) is due to CWE-427, an uncontrolled search path element, enabling the loading of arbitrary code. Successful exploitation could lead to a complete compromise of the Model Application Server.
