37
FAUCET Score

CVE-2025-65027 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting RomM (ROM Manager) versions prior to 4.4.1 and 4.4.1-beta.2. It involves multiple unrestricted file upload flaws allowing authenticated users to upload malicious SVG or HTML files. When accessed, these files trigger stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) which, combined with a CSRF misconfiguration, can lead to full administrative account takeover, including creating rogue admin accounts or escalating attacker privileges. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.6 (High) due to its network attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impact on integrity and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion.
