CVE-2025-65015

26
FAUCET Score

CVE-2025-65015 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting the joserfc Python library (versions 1.3.3 to 1.3.4 and 1.4.0 to 1.4.1). It allows an attacker to cause a denial of service by sending arbitrarily large, forged JWT tokens, leading to excessive memory consumption when logging or diagnostic tools process the oversized exception messages. The attack vector is network-based with low complexity, requiring no user interaction, and can result in high availability impact. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
