CVE-2025-59101

24
FAUCET Score

CVE-2025-59101 describes a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in an unspecified Access Manager web interface. Instead of robust session management, the system authenticates based solely on the originating IP address, allowing any subsequent request from that IP to be considered authenticated. This design flaw (CWE-291) enables an attacker to spoof the IP address of a successfully logged-in user to gain unauthorized access. With a CVSSv4 score of 7.7 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Currently, there is no known active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion, indicating a low immediate threat but a high potential risk.
