23
FAUCET Score

CVE-2025-58762 describes a critical path traversal vulnerability in Tautulli v2.15.3 and earlier, a monitoring tool for Plex Media Server. An authenticated administrator can leverage the pms_image_proxy endpoint to write arbitrary Python scripts to the application filesystem. This allows for remote code execution when combined with the Script notification agent. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.2 (High), indicating a network-based attack with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, requiring high privileges but no user interaction. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion, suggesting a low current threat landscape. Users are advised to upgrade to Tautulli version 2.16.0 to mitigate this risk.
