CVE-2025-58755 is a high-severity path traversal vulnerability affecting MONAI (Medical Open Network for AI) versions up to and including 1.5.0. It allows an authenticated attacker to overwrite arbitrary system files by exploiting the insecure use of the zip_file.extractall function when processing specially crafted compressed files, including those downloaded via links. With a CVSS score of 8.8, this vulnerability poses a significant risk of complete compromise (confidentiality, integrity, and availability). There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and no fixed versions are yet available.
