CVE-2025-55853 is a critical Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting SoftVision webPDF versions prior to 10.0.2. An attacker can exploit the PDF converter function by uploading malicious XML or HTML files containing http:// or file:/// protocols, enabling internal port scanning and Local File Inclusion (LFI). With a CVSS score of 9.1, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to high confidentiality and integrity impacts. Currently, there is no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and it is not known to be actively exploited, with minimal community discussion or media coverage.
