44
FAUCET Score

CVE-2025-55161 is a critical Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting Stirling-PDF versions prior to 1.1.0. This flaw allows an attacker to bypass security sanitization when converting Markdown to PDF via the /api/v1/convert/markdown/pdf endpoint, enabling them to make arbitrary requests from the server. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While there is no evidence of active exploitation or public Metasploit/ExploitDB modules, a Nuclei template exists, and community discussion and media coverage are currently minimal.
