An unauthenticated attacker can trigger this by sending a specific sequence of Modbus TCP messages to port 502, causing the device to enter a DoS state. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, leading to a complete loss of availability.
