CVE-2025-4973 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting all versions up to 3.3.1 of the Workreap plugin for WordPress, used by the Workreap - Freelance Marketplace WordPress Theme. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as any registered user, including administrators, by knowing their email address, provided the user's confirmation_key has not been previously set. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
