CVE-2025-46001 is a critical arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the is_allowed_file_type() function of simogeo Filemanager v2.3.0. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to upload malicious PHP files, leading to arbitrary code execution on the affected system. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, enabling complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, nor are public exploit tools like Metasploit or Nuclei available, and it has received minimal community discussion or media coverage.
