CVE-2025-43917 is a high-severity privilege escalation vulnerability affecting Pritunl Client versions prior to 1.3.4220.57. An administrator with local access to the /Applications directory can exploit this by replacing a removed pritunl-service file, which is then executed as root by a LaunchDaemon. This allows for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
