CVE-2025-40717 is a critical SQL injection vulnerability affecting Quiter Gateway versions prior to 4.7.0. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw via the pagina.filter.categoria mensaje in /QuiterGatewayWeb/api/v1/sucesospagina to gain full control over the database, including data retrieval, creation, modification, and deletion. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its severity, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
