CVE-2025-3811 describes a critical privilege escalation vulnerability affecting all versions of the WPBookit plugin for WordPress up to and including 1.0.2. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to take over any user account, including administrators, by manipulating email addresses through an improperly validated function, subsequently enabling password resets and full account access. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
