CVE-2025-36005 describes a sensitive information disclosure vulnerability in multiple versions of the IBM MQ Operator and IBM Supplied MQ Advanced Container Images. Due to improper certificate validation in the Internet Pass-Thru component, a malicious authenticated user could potentially intercept and obtain sensitive data from other TLS sessions connecting to the same hostname and port. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) has a low attack complexity and does not require user interaction, leading to a high confidentiality impact. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
