CVE-2025-35053 is a path traversal vulnerability in Newforma Info Exchange (NIX) versions prior to 2023.1, allowing an authenticated user to read and delete arbitrary files with NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService privileges via the '/UserWeb/Common/MarkupServices.ashx' endpoint. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.4 (Medium) and could lead to unauthorized information disclosure and limited data integrity impact. While no public exploits or active exploitation have been observed, the default anonymous access in older versions (CVE-2025-35062) could allow an unauthenticated attacker to leverage this flaw.
