CVE-2025-34281 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting ThingsBoard versions prior to v4.2.1. An authenticated user can upload malicious SVG images to the "Image Gallery," which, when accessed via the public API or embedded in a widget, executes JavaScript in the victim's browser. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) allows for potential session compromise and unauthorized actions due to insufficient restriction of JavaScript execution in the ImageController. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
