CVE-2025-34208 affects Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host and Application deployments, where it insecurely stores user passwords using unsalted SHA-512 and SHA-1 hashes. This vulnerability allows an attacker with access to the password database to recover cleartext passwords through offline dictionary or rainbow table attacks due to the lack of per-user salting and the use of fast hashing algorithms. Rated 7.5 HIGH on the CVSS scale, it presents a significant risk of complete confidentiality compromise (C:H) with low attack complexity (AC:L) and no user interaction required (UI:N). Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
