CVE-2025-30343 is a directory traversal vulnerability affecting OpenSlides versions prior to 4.2.5. An authenticated attacker can craft file or folder titles with relative or absolute paths, leading to the generation of a malicious ZIP archive that, upon extraction, could overwrite local files outside the intended directory. This vulnerability is rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.5) due to its network attack vector and low complexity for an authenticated user, potentially leading to high impact on confidentiality through arbitrary file overwrites. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, nor are there publicly available exploit modules in Metasploit, Nuclei, or ExploitDB. Community discussion and media coverage for this CVE are minimal.
