CVE-2025-27781 is a critical unsafe deserialization vulnerability affecting Applio versions 3.2.8-bugfix and prior. The flaw allows remote attackers to achieve remote code execution by manipulating user-supplied input paths in inference.py and tts.py, which are then processed by the vulnerable torch.load function. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, a patch is available on the main branch of the Applio repository.
