This flaw allows a local attacker to escalate privileges due to an improperly configured hardware root of trust within the system-on-chip. The vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 7.8 (HIGH), indicating a significant risk. An attacker with low-privileged code execution can leverage this to gain arbitrary code execution during the boot process, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
