CVE-2025-24404 is an XML Injection vulnerability in Apache HertzBeat (versions prior to 1.7.0) that can lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). An authenticated attacker with monitor access can exploit this by adding a monitor that parses a specially crafted XML sitemap response, triggering the vulnerability. This high-severity flaw (CVSS 8.8) has a low attack complexity and can result in full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
